- Please be aware of the high value that law schools place on the LSAT. Many schools weigh it at least as much as your GPA. The LSAT primarily tests your reasoning skills, in other words, your ability to think logically. There are classes at UCLA which will significantly enhance these skills:
Philosophy 31 Introduction to Logic
Communication Studies 102 Principles of Argumentation
- If you plan on taking the LSAT, please take these classes. Comm Studies 102 is rarely offered but will be offered next quarter (spring 2009)!
This Summer 2009, UCLA will be offering a Pre-Law course titled UG-Law 180 introduction to Legal Education, this course will be a 4 unit course, monday and wed, from 10 am- noon.
